Owned and operated by Howard and Linda Dix, the farm was established in the year 2000 and promises to remain a strong and viable part of the local community far into the future. With support from many other farms in the Northeast, Summerhill has quickly become a name that is well known and respected among alpaca breeders nationwide. Their commitment to high-quality beautiful alpacas is second only to the love of their herd, as evidenced by the honors awarded in such a short time.

After landing Blue Ribbons at NECC, The Big E, and Empire, Summerhill Carson went on to take the Championship at home in Vermont at the Green Mountain Alpaca Fall Spectacular. While all of our alapcas did very well, Carson's presence was noted time and time again.
He is alvailable now for selected breedings and will most certainly be back in the show rings next year. |
